  • Plant: one such individual is 'planted' in the team, generally tend to be highly creative, and good at solving problems
  • Monitor Evaluator: needed to provide a logical eye,

Communication Skills

Active Listening: in some form info is repeated to the one providing it
  • encourage the speaker to keep talking
Conflict Resolution: area's of conlict can occur:-
  • personal differences - different styles of doing things
  • resources
  • differing goals
  • schedualing of tasks - clash or not done on time
  • resolving: 'attack the problem not the person', find the cause of the conflict
Negotiation skills: trying to reach an agreement through discussion
  • reaching common goals
Interview Techniques:
  • interviews: tend to have more open questions, allows to explore issues, widely discussed
  • open question on surveys - result in random answers
  • start with closed question then to open ones
Team Building: achieve common goals
  • identifying roles
  • creating cohersion within the group
